Our Story

Mukul Mehta started Mayflower in 1985, to launder, rent, and sell linen to hotels in the Baltimore and DC metro area. Mr. Mehta's beginnings in the laundry industry required him to wear multiple hats: delivery driver, production worker, salesperson, and service rep, while his wife was the company's bookkeeper, office manager, and the mother figure to the Mayflower workforce. The small family business steadily grew through consistent quality, dependable service, and a dedicated team. Eventually Mayflower expanded into the healthcare sector for the six surrounding states of MD, DC, VA, PA, NJ, and DE.

Now over 30 years later, Mr. & Mrs. Mehta's daughters joined Mayflower as the 2nd generation owners, and want to amplify the company's main values of quality, service, and family.
